Great place to go for exercise! It would be nice if the former bridge crossing at what I'm guessing was the railroad was fixed up to allow easier access to the little used trail on the other side that parallels the main path towards the end of the park for more variety. Also, what were the iron-concrete box that looks like a large foot locker and the huge concrete structure in the fence used for? I didn't see any signs for them & this web site didn't show anything either. It would be nice if this site had pictures of all the structures currently exhibited on the trails, along with a brief description. I grew up & lived in Chesterfield for 40 years and love your parks! Thank you, Bill Price

The park policy permits the use of Mountain Bikes? Is it possible to use the same running tracks to cycle? Thank you.

Can you show how the map (shown on the entrance kiosk) would overlay a modern map?

Would like more information on the evidence of the Newcomen steam engine discovered during an archaeological survey by Dutton & Associates at Midlothian Mines in 2009.
