Become a part of the history of the Mid-Lothian Mines Park.

For the first phase of development, in March 2004 the County of Chesterfield Parks & Recreation Department obtained a $75,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Transportation to construct a right turn lane off North Woolridge Road and entrance drive into the park. The county also allocated $70,000 in funds to improve the trails, make repairs to the fences, install interpretive signage and construct a portion of a 68-space parking lot.

There was a sign dedication ceremony on May 2, 2009.
